Fair enough but what’s truly admirable about Thom is that each of his shows unravels an entire narrative.
In his previous show, Thom portrayed the story of the Little Prince while the current one as described by the designer delves into a dark psycho drama with a surprisingly happy ending as you observe the stage you will notice a woman seated beside her suitcases.
This production serves as a fashion runway for the haunting fantasies she is thinking about while waiting for her train. These fantasies bear striking resemblance to Thom Browne's signature style of impeccably tailored suits that are extravagantly bold and infused with captivating darkness. These thoughts are so mesmerizing that they might even cause her to miss her train one more time. In the end, luxury is attention to detail which we see in Thom Browne's show through the bird in the hand and the bell which can symbolise the American dream of independence.
