A Visual Feast: Inside the 5th Edition of AD Design Show India 2024

Design enthusiasts were treated to an unforgettable experience at the Architectural Digest Design Show (ADDS) 2024, held in the stunning Dome Stadium in Worli. This year, the show celebrated its fifth anniversary, with an inspiring address from Komal Sharma, Head of Editorial Content at AD India, setting a vibrant tone for the event.

The highlight of the inaugural day was the breathtaking central installation by the talented duo Eugenio Rossi and Yaazd Contractor from The Back Studio, masterfully brought to life by Splendour Living. This striking piece encapsulated the event's spirit and perfectly embodied the theme of artistic innovation, drawing attendees into a world where creativity knows no bounds.

The day also featured two engaging Power Talks that sparked thought-provoking discussions. Attendees delved into the enduring beauty of carpets as heirloom treasures and explored the pursuit of simplicity in design. These sessions, led by industry leaders, challenged conventional design thinking and inspired a fresh perspective on the artistry behind everyday objects.

Adding to the allure was a curated showcase of works from over 40 designers, each offering a unique take on lifestyle and art. Among the many highlights were the adorable Gus and the mischievous Miko, who stole the show as beloved showstoppers.

The event was further elevated by collaborations with avant-garde brands like Artize, Bombay Sapphire Creative Lab, JSW, Obeetee Carpets, Pidilite, and ULTRAVIOLETTE AUTOMOTIVE, while BMW India provided luxurious mobility, enhancing the overall experience.

ADDS 2024 not only celebrated design but also fostered a sense of community among creators and enthusiasts alike. The blend of elegance and creativity made this inaugural day truly unforgettable, leaving everyone eager for what’s to come in the days ahead. Whether you're a seasoned designer or simply a lover of aesthetics, this year’s show is a must-visit, promising to inspire and ignite the imagination.
