LVMH’s champagne brands recognized as the most valuable wine brands globally

What makes your sip/glass special?

"Come quickly, I am tasting the stars!" the famous quote by the legendary monk Dom Pérignon, beautifully captures the essence of champagne.

Dom Pérignon’s innovations in blending and winemaking laid the groundwork for the luxurious champagnes we savor today.

But what makes these wines truly legendary? Is it the taste? Is it the brand label? Or is it the rich history or story behind that wine and its process?

Yes, it's all about the luxury experience that is symbolized through the rich history and story of each bottle.

Recently, LVMH’s champagne brands—Moët & Chandon, Dom Pérignon, Veuve Clicquot, and Chandon—have been recognized as the most valuable wine brands globally where Moët & Chandon is valued at $1.4 billion, due to its enduring appeal and consistent excellence.

The Champagne House maintained the top spot in 2023. Its brand value increased by 9% this year, showcasing its ongoing strength, according to Brand Finance. Following, LVMH brands Chandon, Veuve Clicquot, and Dom Pérignon secured second, third, and fourth places, respectively. Chandon saw a slight dip in value, down 1% to $1 billion, while Veuve Clicquot and Dom Pérignon experienced growth, with their values rising by 2% and 7%.

LVMH's strategic focus on premiumization allowed these brands to flourish.

Even during uncertainties, people turned to familiar luxuries to celebrate small victories, making their wines more relevant than ever. The story of these wines goes beyond the vineyard.

It’s about how LVMH has managed to balance tradition with innovation, maintaining the heritage of these brands while looking upto modern tastes.
