Mercedes Tops Luxury Car Sales, BMW Close Second in November '23

The global luxury car market is a revving engine, fueled by a combination of wealth, prestige, and cutting-edge technology. For the discerning buyer, these vehicles represent not just transportation, but an elevated driving experience and a symbol of success. While the overall market is poised for steady growth, regional nuances and brand rivalries keep things interesting. Let's take a look at the Indian luxury car scene, where established titans like Mercedes-Benz and BMW battle it out for dominance, even as new contenders emerge.

Mercedes-Benz was the top-selling luxury car brand in India for November 2023, selling 1,234 cars. Despite a 0.05% dip in market share, they retained their lead. BMW closely followed, selling 1,121 cars with a 0.31% market share. Other notable brands include Jaguar Land Rover, Volvo, and Porsche. Audi's exact sales numbers are undisclosed, but they sold 43 CBU models in the country, expecting higher numbers when considering locally-made cars.
