Aston Martin and Brough Superior have renewed their partnership to launch their second model together.
The AMB 001 Pro, is a more powerful and aerodynamic version of the original said to be inspired by the Aston Martin Valkyrie AMR Pro hypercar. The track-only Pro model debuted at the EICMA show in Milan, Italy. Aston Martin was responsible for the bike’s unique design, while Brough Superior took care of the technical side. While the Superbike kept its whimsical design, the Pro model gets more aggressive and distinct aero elements, including the new front spoiler, side wings, and tail fin. All of these components help increase downforce and improve airflow. The AMB 001 Pro features a racing livery that combines Verdant Jade colour with satin carbon fibre, a black engine, and black suspension components. The pure race bike is powered by a new 997cc twin-cylinder engine, machined from solid billet aluminium and features a new cylinder design with wet liners for improved cooling. It delivers 225 hp, which is 25% more than its predecessor. The power increase also gives the super bike a power-to-weight ratio of 1.28 hp per kilogram, similar to an F1 car.
